Answers to Common Questions About Crocodile Cloth Wipes

What are Crocodile Cloths used for?

Crocodile Cloths are heavy-duty cleaning wipes made for tough messes on hands, tools, work surfaces, vehicles, garages, shops, job sites, boats, grills, and more. They’re designed for people who need a durable wipe that can handle grease, grime, oil, paint, adhesive residue, dirt, and everyday messes.

What makes Crocodile Cloth different from regular cleaning wipes?

Crocodile Cloths are larger, stronger, and more durable than standard household wipes. They’re built for bigger messes and tougher environments, with a textured cloth (PowerSCRUB) that helps scrub while you wipe.

Are Crocodile Cloths only for professional use?

No. Crocodile Cloths are used by professionals, DIYers, homeowners, hobbyists, mechanics, painters, grillers, boaters, and anyone dealing with tough messes.

Do surfaces like countertops and floors need to be rinsed after using cloths?

No, countertops and floors do not generally need rinsing after being cleaned with Crocodile Cloth. For specific applications and product use cases, always reference the NSF certifications and information on the packaging.

Is Crocodile Cloth fragrance free?

FIERCE Disinfectant is our only product with fragrance added. The rest of our products are fragrance free.

Can these cloths be used on finished surfaces?

Many of our products are safe for use on most surfaces with a few exceptions. AutoSCRUB and PaintSCRUB are recommended for unfinished surfaces only due to their more aggressive formulation and increased degreasers. FIERCE is intended for use on hard, non-porous surfaces. For all of our products, we always recommend testing on a small inconspicuous area first.

Can I use Crocodile Cloth in my kitchen?

Yes! Our GRILL product has an NSF P1 certification, meaning you can use it in food prep areas and it contains degreasers that help break down grease and baked on foods. You can also use FIERCE disinfectant in non-food contact areas.

Is it safe to use these to wipe yourself after you use the restroom?

This product has been dermatologically tested and confirmed to be safe for use on human skin. However, the product is not specifically designed for use in the restroom and is not flushable.

Are these disinfectant wipes?

Crocodile Cloth Fierce is our only disinfectant product line.

Are Crocodile Cloths disposable?

Yes. Dispose of used wipes according to local guidelines and the product label. Do not flush Crocodile Cloths.
